If you have school aged kids, you know the drill, they were assigned a project 2 weeks ago and you’ve never heard of it until the night before it’s due.
This year, I accept the challenge of showing my kids about prioritizing, time management and organization. It may be a lost cause on an 11 year old who’d rather play video games or draw, but I do it in hopes that she retains something…at least I hope she does.
My daughter ultimately got an A for her project, and I ended the day with a smile. My efforts of becoming an expert on rock formations within 20 minutes didn’t go unnoticed.
+1 for dad.
Share your story with me about some last minute projects your kids put your through, I’d be interested to know how others deal with it.
